Meet The Team

Introducing the Total Endurance team! Our group of coaches and experts are dedicated to helping you reach your triathlon goals and improve your overall fitness.

Leading the team is Ken Bryson, our Managing Director and Head Coach. With almost 30 years of coaching experience, Ken has worked with athletes of all levels, from complete beginners to Commonwealth Games competitors. He's a Level 3 Triathlon Coach, cycling Club Coach, Athletics Level 1 coach and Swim Smooth Affiliate coach, and still enjoys competing in various events. Ken is passionate about helping you improve, and he specializes in using his extensive run and bike experience for bike fitting and run technique analysis.

Kevin Watson is our Level 3 Triathlon Coach, specializing in swim coaching and analysis, as well as physiology testing. With 10 years of coaching experience, Kevin has helped numerous complete beginners gain confidence in the water and has also represented Great Britain at Age Group level in European Triathlon and World Duathlon Championships. He's committed to helping you reach your short or long term goals, regardless of your current fitness level.

Meet Calum McIntyre, our Retail Manager and Mr. Celtman himself. Calum tends to focus on the more extreme side of Triathlon, favouring XTri events. He has a background in running and loves to chat about all things Triathlon. He'll be the first person you meet when you arrive at Total Endurance, and he's always happy to give you advice and pass on his expertise.

Johny Milton is our Bike Maintenance and Sales expert, with close to 15 years of experience in the cycling industry. He's a bike nut, having raced downhill, enduro, and cyclocross, and he's happy to answer any questions you may have about bikes, parts, cycling shoes, bottom brackets, or ever-changing bike standards. He's achieved various bike maintenance courses, Bosch E-bike training, Retul Bike Fit, various suspension servicing courses, including Sram and Shimano service training, and he's worked for various bike shops and pro teams.

Tom Wilson is our Group Coaching and Training Camps specialist. He's a Level 3 Triathlon Coach with a background in competitive swimming and a career in coaching. Tom has coached a wide range of sports in the outdoors over the last 20 years, and he's passionate about helping you improve your triathlon skills. He's had the privilege of qualifying and being part of the GB age group team at European and World championships at Olympic distance.

Last but not least, meet Ewan Stirling, our Level 3 Triathlon Coach with a BSc in Sports Science and accreditation as a UKSCA physical preparation coach. Ewan has 15 years of coaching experience and has worked with athletes across the sport, from novices to Iron distance events. He's coached Para Triathlon for the Commonwealth Games, currently coaches with the Triathlon Scotland Academy Squad, and is a Triathlon Scotland Coach Tutor. Ewan believes that in triathlon, it's about the process and getting the basics right to allow the athlete to thrive and get the most out of the sport.
