Total Endurance is a specialist swim, bike, run and Triathlon centre based in Aberdeen. We provide specialist coaching, technique analysis and fitness testing for all 3 disciplines using a range of facilities including an elite endless pool and VO2Max testing equipment. Our retail area has specialist swim, bike, run and triathlon equipment and apparel, including wetsuit hire. Ken Bryson

Managing Director/Head Coach

Ken has been coaching since 1994 and has coached athletes in all disciplines and at all levels from complete beginners to Commonwealth Games competitors, Scottish and British Champions and Ironman World Championship competitors. He has also competed in bike, run and multi discipline events for over 30 years covering a variety of distances up to marathon and 24 hour bike time trial.  He still has a few events left on his competitive “bucket list”.

His goal is to empower people to Reach Their Potential though the use of up to date coaching methods, fitness testing and monitoring and support throughout their fitness and competitive journey.

Prior to establishing the Total Endurance Centre his day job was in the oil and Gas Industry where he was a Senior Engineering Manager managing a team of 60 developing remote intervention tooling.

Kevin Watson

Coach & Retail

Is currently a Level 2 Triathlon Coach and is working towards his level 3 qualification. He has been coaching for the last 6 years. He began coaching triathlon swimming for all abilities but especially helping complete beginners to improve their confidence in the water.

Since starting to get fit in 2010, when he was barely able to run for longer than 5 minutes, he has gone onto complete a variety of Swimming, Cycling and Running events as well as numerous Triathlons up to the Middle Distance and has represented Great Britain at Age Group level in European Triathlon (Twice) and World Duathlon Championships (Once). Regardless of your current fitness Kevin will definitely be able to help you reach your short or long term goals.

Those who know him will be well aware of his passion of all things Triathlon and his enthusiasm when delivering coaching sessions to all levels of competitors and his thirst for more coaching and sports science knowledge.

Glen Honeyman

Exercise Physiologist

Glen is an accredited Exercise Physiologist with a passion for empowering individuals to take control of their health and fitness regimes through education and exercise prescription. Glen holds an Honours degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Aberdeen University and is currently completing a diploma in Sports Nutrition. In his spare time he coaches youth basketball.

Using state of the art oxygen and CO2 monitoring equipment Glen carries out testing to identify individual physiological response to exercise regimes. Testing will include VO2 max and lactate threshold testing. The results from these tests allow us proscribe exercise intensities and training zones extremely accurately in order to maximize the benefits and adaptations from training regimes and to accurately measure and monitor improvements in fitness and performance. Glen also carrys out individual RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate) testing and provides nutritional advice to aid in the advancement of athletic performance.
